Along Came Love

Synopsis

After being deported and her father died, Luciana decides to return and meet again with the only family she has left: her mother and brother. That is why she travels to the US and shows up at the vineyard where both have worked for the past years, but when she arrives there and meets David, the landowner, she also bumps into an unexpected thing: love.

Despite their differences, both have a deep love and care for the lands where LA’s vineyards grow. An instant and unexplainable attraction emerges between them; however, the possible union between them alerts all those who don’t want that a new relationship may help David recover his desire to live. And the thing is, David has been going through a depression since he became a widower, which has led him not only to disregard his children and himself, but also to be an easy prey of the abuse of his mother-in-law, Lilian, and Juan, his 'friend,’ who have taken advantage of his situation to live on his dime, mismanaging his money and his properties. Both are allied to keep David unhappy and control him this way.

Luciana also wins Lilian’s rejection as a consequence of the grudge Lilian holds against Marta, Luciana’s mother, with whom she keeps a strong rivalry since years ago as Lilian is convinced that Marta had an affair with her husband.

In addition to these conflicts, there is Graciela’s obsession for David. She was always jealous of her sister being married to him, and tried to separate them as she just couldn’t stand seeing them happy. When Lisa died, Graciela saw the perfect opportunity to try to seduce David.

On the other hand, a love triangle emerges when Miguel, a young boy who has been eternally in love with Luciana, decides to make up for the lost time and fight for her. They met since childhood and have a lot in common, but they separated when Luciana and her father were deported. Miguel is convinced that the bond between them is enough reason to believe no other man is worthy of her, even his boss.

Luciana arrives there full of hope, without imagining she would become the hope David needed to live again.

In this land, the fruit coming from pain is not always sour, and even the coldest heart may love once more.
